At Mentorfy.ai, we stand behind our Service. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This Refund Policy explains your rights and our obligations regarding refunds.

2. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

2.1 Eligibility

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new customers. If you are not satisfied with Mentorfy.ai for any reason, you may request a full refund within 30 days of your initial purchase.

The 30-day period begins on the date your first payment is processed.

2.2 What's Covered

The money-back guarantee applies to:

  • Your first subscription payment only

  • Monthly or annual subscription fees

  • Initial setup or onboarding fees (if applicable)

2.3 How to Request a Refund

To request a refund within the 30-day period:

  1. Email us at brady@mentorfy.ai with "Refund Request" in the subject line

  2. Include your account email address and reason for the refund request

  3. We will process your request within 5-7 business days

  4. Refunds are issued to the original payment method

2.4 Processing Time

Once your refund is approved:

  • Credit card refunds: 5-10 business days to appear on your statement

  • The exact timing depends on your bank or credit card company

  • You will receive email confirmation when the refund is processed

3. After the 30-Day Period

3.1 No Refunds After 30 Days

All fees paid after the initial 30-day period are non-refundable. This includes:

  • Recurring subscription payments

  • Renewal charges

  • Upgrade fees

  • Any additional services or features

3.2 Why No Refunds After 30 Days

As a software service, we:

  • Provide immediate access to the platform

  • Incur costs to maintain and deliver the Service

  • Allocate resources based on active subscriptions

  • Invest in infrastructure and AI model training

The 30-day guarantee provides ample time to evaluate whether the Service meets your needs.

4. Partial Refunds

4.1 No Pro-Rated Refunds

We do not offer pro-rated refunds for partial billing periods. If you cancel your subscription:

  • You retain access until the end of your current billing period

  • No refund is provided for unused time

  • Your subscription will not renew after the current period ends

4.2 Example

If you pay $99/month on the 1st of each month and cancel on the 15th:

  • You keep access until the end of the month (through the 31st)

  • No refund is provided for the remaining days

  • Your subscription ends on the last day of the billing period

5. Exceptions and Special Circumstances

5.1 Billing Errors

If you are charged in error due to a technical issue on our end:

  • Contact us immediately at brady@mentorfy.ai

  • We will investigate and issue a refund if the charge was made in error

  • Refunds for billing errors can be issued at any time

5.2 Duplicate Charges

If you are charged twice for the same transaction:

  • Contact us at brady@mentorfy.ai with proof of duplicate charges

  • We will issue a refund for the duplicate charge immediately

5.3 Service Downtime

If the Service experiences significant downtime due to issues on our end:

  • We may, at our sole discretion, provide credits or refunds

  • Downtime due to scheduled maintenance does not qualify for refunds

  • Minor service interruptions do not qualify for refunds

5.4 Fraud or Terms Violations

If your account is terminated for fraud, abuse, or violation of our Terms of Service:

  • No refund will be provided

  • Any outstanding fees remain due and payable

6. Chargebacks

6.1 Contact Us First

Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company, please contact us at brady@mentorfy.ai. We are committed to resolving billing disputes fairly and quickly.

6.2 Chargeback Consequences

If you file a chargeback:

  • Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation

  • If the chargeback is found to be invalid, your account may be terminated

  • You may be liable for chargeback fees and legal costs

  • We reserve the right to dispute invalid chargebacks

7. Cancellation vs. Refund

Cancellation and refund are different:

Cancellation:

  • Stops future billing

  • You keep access until the end of the current billing period

  • Does NOT result in a refund (unless within 30-day guarantee period)

Refund:

  • Returns money for charges already paid

  • Only available within 30 days of initial purchase

  • Requires a refund request (see Section 2.3)

8. Annual Subscriptions

8.1 30-Day Guarantee Applies

The 30-day money-back guarantee applies to annual subscriptions. If you purchase an annual plan and request a refund within 30 days, you will receive a full refund.

8.2 No Refunds After 30 Days

After the 30-day period, annual subscription fees are non-refundable, even if you cancel early. You will retain access for the full year you paid for.

9. Add-Ons and Extra Features

9.1 No Refunds for Add-Ons

Additional features, services, or add-ons purchased outside your base subscription are non-refundable, except within the initial 30-day guarantee period (if purchased at the same time as your subscription).

10. Enterprise and Custom Plans

10.1 Custom Refund Terms

Enterprise or custom plans may have different refund terms as specified in your service agreement. If you have a custom contract, refer to that agreement for refund terms.

11. How We Calculate Refunds

11.1 Full Refunds Only

Within the 30-day guarantee period, we provide full refunds only. We do not provide partial refunds based on usage, features used, or time elapsed.

11.2 Original Payment Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different card or account.

12. Refund Exclusions

Refunds are not available for:

  • Accounts terminated for Terms of Service violations

  • Accounts suspended for fraud or abuse

  • Fees older than 30 days from initial purchase

  • Third-party services or integrations

  • Costs incurred from your use of the Service (e.g., AI processing costs)

  • Custom development or consulting services (if applicable)

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on our website with the "Last Updated" date revised. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

Material changes to refund terms will not affect refunds for purchases made before the change.

15. Fair Use

We reserve the right to refuse refunds in cases of suspected abuse, such as:

  • Multiple refund requests from the same user

  • Refund requests after extensive use of the Service

  • Evidence of extracting value with intent to refund

We will investigate suspicious refund patterns and may decline refunds at our discretion.
